ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Jarek Wujkowski - I was raised with a rod in hand growing up in northern Wisconsin’s Vilas County. For as long as I can remember I have had an obscene obsession with angling and pursuing freshwater giants. This passion has led to me to spend every bit of my years traveling to pursue the next trophy and eventually settling on  Lake Vermilion and the bay of Green Bay and everywhere in between. I’ve experienced every water body type imaginable to hone in my angling skills. Fishing from Sturgeon Bay to Lake Superior, various shield lakes, the Columbia River, Northern Saskatchewan, and every small watershed in between has groomed me into a well-rounded multispecies angler that is ready to take on any challenge a body of water presents. My mandate is to always put anyone in my boat in the best position to: educate them on how to successfully locate, catch, and properly release fish, create positive memories that will last a lifetime, and ensure every trip spent with Rodsbent Guide Service is a success, one way or another.

ANGLER CHOICE EQUIPMENT

My Equipment - Fishability is one of the most crucial components to day in and day out success on the water. Having a boat that can handle any angling situation you throw at it is crucial to daily success. Fishing on Lake Vermilion with Rodsbent Guide Service means you will be guided from one of the most versatile boats on the market, a 2016 Alumacraft 185 Competitor Limited powered by a 90 Yamaha tiller. Having cutting edge electronics is crucial, and the front-runner in sonar technologies is Humminbird. Using a Humminbird Onix 10 SI and a Helix 10 SI puts us at an unforeseeable advantage on the water. All of this coupled with a Minnkota Terrova, iPilot, and Talon allows me to implement any angling technique imaginable to help ensure a successful day on the water.

YOUR TRIP

Rodsbent is a multispecies guide service focusing on, but certainly not limited to, the Lake Vermillion area of Northern Minnesota during the gamefish season and the Sturgeon Bay area in the early season. I can arrange for any accommodations you have in mind to make your trip a memorable one, just ask! What’s Included: Rods and Tackle, Bait, Fish Cleaning, and Transportation.
